Planning my trip to my long awaited vacation to the Petrified Forest, I decided we needed to get part way to the Petrified Forest and hit the Forest as early in the day as possible. Gallup was the perfect choice. A perfect distance, a decent RV park and 6 photos waiting for me to take them. The first one was of the McKinley County Courthouse which when we arrived we encountered the most undesirable lighting condition. But not wanting to spend any time in the Gallup downtown area, I did with it what I could and quickly headed off to the next photo. (I need to remember my lens hood for these occasions, think, think, think). |
