During our three day stay in the ghost town (population 11) of Chloride we spent one
day driving around taking more photos for the contest.  The first one was of the
Elephant Butte Dam.  This is an area that Jim and I would never “elect” to go.  We have
no interest in water sports of any kind, and this area had never appealed to either one of
us.  All of these photos were simply “snap and go”.  Nothing here we particularly
wanted to see.  The view of the dam for my photo was marred by chain link fencing and
inaccessibility to the site of the original photo.
